Manufacturing know how and the development of Heat Pipe Coolers for power semiconductor
elements has been maturing for years. We manufacture custom made products and can satisfy
individual requirements of customers.

 
Free convection   Forced circulation

Gravity heat pipes for power semiconductor elements such as diodes, transistors, thyristors,
integrated circuits (IGBT modules) are a mainstay of  HPM Therm development and production.
Normally the elements contact the pipes which are the evaporative section and the condensation
section [usually the fins] is cooled by air. Gravity heat tubes work upright or in an angle up to 5o from horizontal with the condensation section set above the evaporative one. Air-cooling is realized by
free convection (chimney effect) or by air feeding with the help of a ventilator.
